I know allegations of physical abuse are criminal in nature and have to be investigated, charges brought, and due process entitles a person to a trial.
But I also know that our justice system has a poor track record of charging and convicting abusers, even with testimony and other evidence.
The bottom line is playing in MLB is a privilege rather than a right. I would ask MLB whether, following an investigation, this is a person they want representing them.
These guys could very likely just be monsters at baseline. But as a bit of pointless speculation, and not to excuse anything, this sounds like roids behavior.

Feels like that's not what he's "addicted to" and they did say "drug addict." LSD usually chills you out or gives you a panic attack. He could have been an abusive [expletive] on it, no doubt, but I wouldn't suspect that being the addiction. Hard to say with out of context social media posts though.

I mentioned it because one of his exes wrote about his addictions in the context of taking daily LSD and mushrooms.
But that seems like an exaggeration posted in anger.
