What reason is there to not vote for him? He's never even been suspected of steroids, hasn't sniffed a criminal record, done a bunch of charity work. If he's not unanimous, nobody should be, ever.
Age lying and Angels decline will probably do it. Bitter NL Central rival writers. It's always [expletive] like that.

Even IF he lied about his age, who cares?

It's precisely the knowledge that he'll get in easily that will give some voters the cover to protest something or settle an old score.

Some writers are goth teens at the mall. Look at how subversive I am, sheeple. No seriously, please, please look. C’mon, none of this is worth it if you don’t look. Please?

There is also the perpetuating [expletive] phenomenon. I couldn’t vote for Albert first ballot because Nolan Ryan wasn't unanimous.

It’s kind of a wonder Mo got in unanimously. These days a great way to carve out room for your voice is by loudly, stupidly contradicting even the most logical points of view—and people disagreeing is at least just as effective as agreeing with you.

If Albert lied about his age, then the season he just put up at age 50 is even more impressive. 703 HR is 703 HR no matter what age he hit them at.

No, some chud will leave Albert off as some type of self-important steroid era protest.

Who was better than him? In my opinion, he is in the top 3 baseball players (hitters) ever.

1. Babe Ruth
2. Hank Aaron
3. Albert Pujols
