I doubt that would end well.

I'm scared to eat this taco because I will probably never go back to a normal taco again.

You have to let go of your pre-conceived taco prejudices in order to grow as a human being and learn to experience other culturally relevant tacos.C. Johny wrote:I'm scared to eat this taco because I will probably never go back to a normal taco again.

That's an Al Jolson minstrel taco, covered in Mammy sauce. It's part of Taco Bell's Amos 'n' Andy taco series.

Shouldn't we have entered a world of postracial tacos by now? In Obama's America and all, like Rush likes to say?

There are too many taco purists left in the world who don't believe in mixing tacos of different colors...

Notice that nobody has anything to say about the rich diversity of taco cultures.
The scholarly thing to do would be to trace elements of taconess within a given taco tradition, as well as the conventions by which those tacos have been "in conversation," and recurrent taco themes have been altered or elaborated across a period of decades, or even centuries.

How did we end up with different taco cultures anyway? I bet they all evolved from Taco Eve, the first taco of the world some 6.5 billion years ago. I think they found the skeletal remains of a taco shell much smaller than the ones we have today. Through carbon dating and DNA extraction they have found similar traits shared with all tacos of different cultures.
