This one kinda gets me a bit. One of those supporting role actors who usually ended up stealing the scene from the lead because he was great at a certain kind of world-weary cynical intensity. And he had a very distinctive voice.

Love his work. He was great in anything he did. My favorite role of his growing up was the father in Ordinary People.
