I saw Triangle of Sadness.

Had some funny moments but I didn't love it overall. It's one of those things that felt like it had promise that it just never lived up to.

Ahead of Banshees, I rewatched In Bruges. It's still great. From my position (and at least acknowledging that this is easy for a straight guy to say) I actually think the homophobia and general ignorance actually make the whole theme play a little snappier in 2022 in a way I didn't appreciate in 09. Empathy is the heart of the movie. Empathy in the oddest package imaginable.

Great soundtrack. Regina and a bunch of cool folk music.

Really looking forward to Banshees. Though trying to go in as blind as possible.

I watched "Life of Crime" a couple weeks back. It stars Jennifer Aniston, Tim Robbins and... some other actors that people would say looked familiar.

It's an odd movie. It's a drama that involves murder and kidnapping and extortion, but it's not overly dramatic, nor funny, nor suspenseful. It just kind of... is. It wasn't horrible, but I don't think I'd watch it again.

My wife drug me to Ticket to Paradise. I have to admit I laughed my butt off several times. It was a solid if not somewhat predictable Rom Com.

I took a kid to Strange World the other day. What a pile of crap. I don't care about the homosexual angle, it was just a bad movie. I also took him to Sing 2 months ago that was at least tolerable.

The kid liked it though, so that's something.

Keri Russell, I'm ashamed of you. Cocaine Bear? Really?

You can't be that hard up for money. Come on, now.
