IN a pinch, or should I say clinch, you can just string some bishops together... I mean, I imagine.

Just a note the evidence is that he likely cheated ONLINE over 100 times.

In rated games and where prize money was paid.

Not exactly the type of report you want to see if you're Hans Niemann.

Cheating over the board is, while likely a bit more complicated, not all that different afaik.

Not excusing; just saying the drama started from an over-the-board tournament with Magnus; evidence of cheating shows a pattern but it's still not evidence of vibrating anal beads.

Unless....

Magnus had anal beads tuned to the same frequency installed before the match! THAT'S why he left after one move. He was feeling it!

My first reaction to this is to think that online games for money or even otherwise are surely going to feature rampant cheating. Googling a bit, it seems like chess.com thinks they can use software maybe comparing your moves to chess engine moves and also looking at how long it takes you to make decisions, to detect cheaters. I have no idea whether this is believable or not, and they are of course hush on how exactly the detection works, but from a know nothing perspective, I feel like it would be basically impossible to stop sophisticated cheaters online.
