Ah yes, the little-known artistic genre that is both a portrait and a landscape painting.

Is there nothing that Leo da Vinci didn't invent?

I can't draw for [expletive]. I wrote this poem for my kids and drew some godawful pictures for it. I'm going to see if Midjourney can do anything with them. I think it will be fun for me in the way editing videos and music is--if I can figure it out.

So that's a no, dog. In the words of Conner4Real as above, AI is an overrated piece of [expletive].

This is far from the best I got. But I poked around a while, learned a little bit, even talked to some talented users. What I want to do isn't really possible yet. Try and make Midjourney or Leonardo AI understand cassowaries have a horn on their head. Take a weekend, give it a try.

Here's Louis Armstrong playing a flaming guitar for good measure. Bad stuff is still the most useful application for me:

It's like watching Randy Newman have a nightmare about Canadian baseball

It starts out fairly normally-- some AI glitches in creating hands, stuff like that, but nothing major.

After the sequence of "small child chugs a beer/children inhale hot dogs/baseball player starts bleeding from the brain" it descends rapidly. It feels very Tim and Eric.
