We don't see Norris?
I just felt some optimism!
Well, either that or gas...but I'm pretty sure it was optimism.

The scary thing about this is if we do win the WC but have to do it with a play in game then in Game 1 of the NLDS it'll be Roy Halladay vs. Edwin Jackson because no one else will be on proper rest.

There is nothing scary once we reach the playoffs. I want us to get there. Then we will worry abt other stuffs.JoeMcKim wrote:The scary thing about this is if we do win the WC but have to do it with a play in game then in Game 1 of the NLDS it'll be Roy Halladay vs. Edwin Jackson because no one else will be on proper rest.

Beggars can't be choosers. The Wild Card should have to face an uphill battle. Sucks, but it's the way it is. We can beat the Phillies in a 3 game series. I actually don't mind Jackson against Halladay. Instead of potentially wasting Carp against the best pitcher in baseball, we'll get him later in the series with a chance to clinch. Maybe. I haven't broken the scheduled starters down yet. A bit early for that.JoeMcKim wrote:The scary thing about this is if we do win the WC but have to do it with a play in game then in Game 1 of the NLDS it'll be Roy Halladay vs. Edwin Jackson because no one else will be on proper rest.

Roy Halladay will remember that game as the day that Edwin Jackson outpitched him.JoeMcKim wrote:The scary thing about this is if we do win the WC but have to do it with a play in game then in Game 1 of the NLDS it'll be Roy Halladay vs. Edwin Jackson because no one else will be on proper rest.
