To expound on my Raffy getting OB thing..
Furcal had 5 hits and 1 walk in the NLCS. One of those hits was a dinger. On base 6 times, scored 5 of those times.
Furcal had 5 hits in the NLDS, two triples. He scored twice. So out of the 11 times he was on base early in the post season, he scored 7 times. Getting Rafael Furcal on base is HUGE. It seems like if he's on base, he's scoring. I think that's a huge key as to why the team wasn't scoring in this series.
However, he has been on base 7 times this series and scored 1. So I might just be wrong.

he's been on 7 times? I can believe it, but it sure doesn't feel like it.PujolJunkie wrote:To expound on my Raffy getting OB thing..

Carp hasn't been "carp" but I don't think he has been bad. Would not be surprised to see him still going in the 6th. Probably more likely until his spot in the order comes up again
