Either way, ESPN should get the truth and shoot a two hour movie of the entire contract saga in the past few days in lei of not being able to televise an announcement press conference. It would be way more entertaining.

Albert Earp: I did my duty, now I'd like to get on with my life. I'm going to Anaheim.
Stan: Ah, I see. To strike it rich. Well, all right, that's fine. Tell you one thing, though...I never saw a rich man who didn't wind up with a guilty conscience.
Albert Earp: Already got a guilty conscience. Might as well have the money, too. Good day, mang.

For some reason I'm annoyed by the teeny little stripes on the Angels sleeves and neck.

My guess is by 2016 he'll be walking out of the stadium with the same [expletive] smirk on his face carrying jerseys of Jason Heyward or Buster Posey or whomever they decide to blow their tv contract money on.obucard wrote:$10 says he'll share your reaction by 2016.cards2468 wrote:

I have to say, of all the places he could end up, Anaheim is just about the best case scenario. It'd suck to see him with any other NL team, especially the Cubs. I wouldn't want him in Boston because the city of St. Louis would never stop whining about it. Seeing him as a Yankee would make me want to vomit. But the Angels have traditionally been a fun team to watch with players you can pull for during the Scioscia years.
