I had to watch the game on DVR. But in doing so, I watched it with my brother, which made it that much cooler... except he only DVR'ed the first two hours. It stopped with the Tigers up 72-71 and 50 seconds left. So I left his home, went back to my own, and watched my DVR'ed version since I'd recorded up to 3 hours. I saw the end of the game sometime around 2 am.

On one hand, I feel like I missed out watching it in real time. On the other hand, the goofy circuitous circumstances that I watched the game make it more memorable. That's one of the best Mizzou hoops wins of my lifetime. I don't even know what would top it, off the top of my head.

Good game. Sucks to lose but you can't really complain, as a KU fan, when you lose to a very good Mizzou team on the road by a single possession.

On a lighter note, I suppose going 25/13 against tough interior D on national TV all but locked up National Player of the Year for Robinson.

It was an awesome game, but I don't think anything is ever going to top the 1997 game with the shot by Corey Tate in double overtime.

Purely from a game standpoint, the Tate game's got it. But this one had all of the backstory- two top ten teams, the last time they'll be facing each other (indefinitely) in Columbia. For me, anyway, that stuff pushes it above Tate.

That's fair. The two top ten teams thing doesn't do as much for me as a mediocre team knocking off an undefeated #1, but you've definitely got a point on the last time deal.

Did I see Tate Decker out there? That kid was an enigma.

So last summer I find out that my sister has decided that she likes modern, radio friendly Nashville country music. So naturally I asked why she had given up on life and she said that she had grown weary of Dave Mathews and needed something new.
