Or could he be Ted Simmons redux? 5.6 to 0.8 (80 to 81)

I doubt it but given the chance I would have said the same thing about Simba.

He was mentioned in the opening post of this thread. And a search of Daric returns 400+ results. I don't think it should bother anyone that we keep track of him, just as we would Shelby Miller if we dealt him before he ever made it to the majors.

At least Miller is on the verge of being called up to the big club. Barton only got to A ball with the Cardinals.

Looking at Albert's FG page tells me not much has changed with his approach since last year. He's still swinging at a lot more pitches out of the zone compared to pre-2011 Pujols and as a result, isn't taking as many walks. Wonder if he needs glasses or if he's expanding his zone because the rest of the Angels lineup is struggling.
