League games are traditionally 3pm Saturday, but if a game is picked for TV it can either be on at 12.45pm or 5.30pm Saturday, 1.30pm or 4pm Sunday or 8pm Monday night (they dont do Monday games every week).go birds wrote:So this is a dumbass question i apologize for asking but like, is there a set schedule for EPL? They dont show live games here at 3pm on Saturday as if there was a "big game" on tv people might not go to watch teams further down the leagues. My view is if someone is going to a game they are going no matter what game is on tv involving teams they dont support.
If a team makes it into the European Champions League they will play a domestic game for instance on a Saturday then a game (possibly in a different country) on the tuesday (Or Sunday/Wednesday).
There is also a "secondary" european competition called the europa league which has games on Thursday nights so take today for example, Spurs played QPR which would have normally been played yesterday at 3pm but Spurs played a game in the europa league in Cyprus on Thursday so instead of playing it at the normal/traditional time to give them time to recover the game was moved to today even though it was not shown on tv (here at least).
As for your team, surely you have to pick USA hero Tim Howard's team? (not said with any bias at all).
