The Video Game Thread

November 18 is going to be expensive. Project cars and GTAV. I can't wait.

Bought Diablo III: Ultimate Evil for PS3, it's been pretty fun, but it's going to lose out to NHL15 for my playing time.

The MMO part of it really sucks. Each zone in instanced, so there are only 4-5 people in one area with me at any given time. Rarely are they trying to do the same thing as me, and since I don't have a headset I don't even know if I can talk to them outside of waving and pointing.

It's kinda funny, Bungie said they didn't send out review copies because all players needed to experience MMO stuff together. At the time I was willing to give Bungie a pass because, you know, they're Bungie. However, the impressions are saying the MMO stuff doesn't really matter and the worlds are sparse. It's now clear to me they knew this game was going to review poorly and that's the real reason reviewers didn't receive the game early.

Now I'm glad I didn't spend the money.

Halo Reach is free to download with a gold subscription right now. Easily one of my favorite FPS single player campaigns ever.

I can't wait for Sunset Overdrive. Interesting live action trailer (NSFW language)
