Did Allardyce say something about that Yedlin tackle into the boards?

Managers normally have selective sight/hearing when it comes to their own teams bad points but Allardyce normally calls it as he sees it, I had totally forgotten about that incident. The advertising boards did appear very close to the pitch thinking back.

That lead to the "fight" right. Football has changed, tackles 30 years ago were not even bookings would be a straight red card now. I am not advocating kicking or deliberately fouling people. But I definitely think "letting your opponent know you are there" is a part of the game.

Otherwise you end up with a Barcelona type situation where players dont dare tackle them and just let them play.

NO MORE SLEEPS

It's my pet opinion that Fox and Klinzy have combined to do such a bad job of building hype for this tournament that no one knows about it. It's gonna be great.

I am looking forward to it

Good tactical preview of tonight's game, even if guessing Klinzy's lineups is an exercise in futility.
