Michael obviously takes for granted the two world championships that this site is responsible for.

SEVEN HELLS!!

I'm glad Michael cleared up the reasoning(non-political), however vague it was. I never took part in that discussion, and would've felt even worse than I do now. Like I was being punished for something I didn't do.

*SIGH* in the words of the immortally bloated Axel Rose, "Where do we go? Wwhere do we go, now? Wwhere do we go, now? Aahhheeahheeoooo, where do we goOo?"... This place was apart of my daily, hourly checkpoint. I stayed mainly to the Major\Minor league rooms, with some scattered words elsewhere. I even stopped checking the rumor sites first before checking here, because the new broke just as fast here. This is one of the better balanced forums I've ever been glad to say I took part in; not too many uppers or downers. I gotta say I wish this was happening while we were having a dominant season.. This is salt in the wound..

But, having never met Micheal personally, I'm glad he gets to look forward to new beginnings. It'll be tough letting go, though... Thank you, Father Micheal.

Man of many monikers,
MLG

Damn this is so disappointing. I loved this board. Thank you to Michael, all the mods and all the posters on here for providing years worth of entertainment.

Me too.

When it first started, GRB was a much needed outlet in a lonely and depressing grad school experience. Over the 10 years since then, I've graduated, moved cities, started a career, got married, bought a house, survived numerous rounds of trauma in my poorly chosen industry, and generally managed to keep pressing forward in my attempts at adulthood. Through it all, I could count on GRB as a constant community, which has meant a great deal to me.

Thanks to all. GRB will be missed.

Why the hell is there not Line of Succession in GRB?

Piss poor planning, that's why!

Thank's Obama!

Yep. GRB was a much-needed corner of the internet as I watched the Cardinals win an improbable championship in a new city with zero friends. I really feel like I grew up here over the last ten years.

Thanks.

I feel like this is my last chance to post the picture I took of haltz at a meetup in 2010.

I think I can go get it and post it here by August 4.
