I saw that the Rams were only the 4th best rated game this past week in the LA market. I know with the number of eyeballs in LA they're still making more than they would in STL, but I feel vindicated.

I also troll tweet Kevin Demoff after every loss and have no regrets about it.

And that's only with what 6 broadcast games every week? I assume that every market has 2 sunday noon games, 1 3 PM sunday game, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Footballl and Thursday Night Football. Plus the fact that MNF and TNF are on cable which limits the amount of ratings that they can get.

The question is what the ratings would be if the Rams were still in STL, or if another game was broadcast. If they're already fourth, there's probably not a really large margin there over replacement.

The Rams will, at some point, improve. Surely they can't endure another ten years like the past ten.

I think it's very possible and almost certain. They've derailed themselves with bad drafts and don't have a first round pick again until 2018. Stan Kroenke is a terrible owner and Kevin Demoff is a very bad executive.

As a life-long Chiefs fan, I'm curious to hear how the Chiefs are being viewed in StL? In our area -- Cape Girardeau -- the sports radio station picked up the Chief's radio broadcast and they talk some Chiefs in all their local programming.

I'm guessing in StL you're getting all the Chiefs games on the CBS station and then a little more Chiefs coverage than normal in local media, but mostly "laugh at the Rams" coverage and a national perspective on the NFL.

I also didn't hear many people talking about this, but wasn't Clark Hunt -- Chiefs owner -- the chair of the NFL relocation committee? The Chiefs had the most to gain by picking up the StL market. Wasn't sure what StL NFL fans thought about that.

There's been non-existent to little coverage of the Chiefs locally. Their games usually pop up on CBS, but any NFL talk is usually about whatever that week's biggest headline is or the Rams' latest screwup.

Mostly we don't care, followed by enjoying the Ram's "success". I have noticed a large gathering of Chief fans at a local watering hole but I don't have any idea if they are recent converts.

Figured as much. They're probably not recent converts. Even when the Rams were in StL, most of the rest of Missouri was historically Chiefs territory (Columbia, Springfield, NE MO), and Missourians from all over migrate to StL for jobs, etc. Lots of Chiefs fans in StL even before the Rams moved.

The hosts on 101.1, Bernie and Karraker in particular, seem to talk more about KC than a lot of other teams. Well, except for Ram-hating. That's still #1 in these parts.
