I love fish tacos, but I don't like them too big. I like fish tacos that are smaller so I can just pop them in my mouth and munch on them while I watch TV.

How about lettuce with them? I've had them both ways, and I prefer lettuce. But not too much, you don't want to have to fight through the lettuce to get to the good stuff. I've even seen them where great care was taken to make the lettuce a decoration, like a little strip of lettuce.

The only thing I don't like about the lettuce is sometimes you get a piece stuck between your teeth, or on the roof of your mouth.

Have you ever gone to the restaurant where you took the lettuce off of the taco yourself?

I haven't, but I've heard stories.

I am always impressed when the lettuce is trimmed to look like a shape. A rectangle, triangle, square, etc. Presentation is an art not often found these days, but is most often found when going to one of those cheap drive-thru places for a late night snack.

I've been to one of those, it was one of those AYCE places. They didn't take the plates back until they were slicked clean.
