29 man rosters, no excuse to not promote Carlson at that point.

Perfect time to see the piggy-back of starters. You have to imagine that the Cardinals and Dodgers are set up for an early season run with their deep stables of starters and pseudo starters. I'm especially excited to see Ponce and Gomber get more of a leash and to shake out the best 5 starters for later in the season. Heck, depending on how short the season goes, you could imagine managers running out their top 4 starters more frequently on shorter pitch counts in preparation for quick post season.

Manfred's comments are encouraging. It's nice to hear talk of when the season will begin, even if it's only based on how the outbreak looks at that point.

But it's nice to hear MLB having a plan in place to play baseball.

I’m hopeful but not entirely sure about going to a game with 40K+ people this year. Maybe in Miami, Baltimore, Pittsburgh would be safe (paranoid old guy here...)

Yeah, based on what I've read, I think games without fans is most likely. And I wouldn't even bet on that.

If the season does start with no fans I guess it doesn't really matter where you play. Ought as well just play the first bunch of games at the spring training complexes if that's the case. They'll be in a controlled environment with minimal traveling.
