So far, yes.
I sure how she stays that way, and can reschedule the surgery soon.

Personal circle covid experiences. My friend lost his brother to Covid in May. mid 50s and had a son. Another friend lost her grandma - no chance to say goodbye. My brother tested positive recently - mid 50s -but appears to be OK now symptom-wise and out of quarantine.
A friend in KC is participating in 3rd stage covid vaccine trials (Moderna) . he says its strange to hope to feel effects from the vaccine - to show its doing something. He doesnt think he has the placebo. keeps a journal as part of the trials. Tenuously hopeful.

Good luck to your mom, Michael. A coworker tested positive in a covid screening prior to a procedure as well. He didn't have any symptoms pre-test and never got any; hopefully your Mom won't either.

This is what we're hoping. We're worried about my dad as well now.

My mom got it. She found out because she was going to have surgery. She's in her 70's and has lung issues. This sucks.
My mom is in the same boat, re:age and lung issues. Really hoping she can avoid Covid. Hope your mom stays well.
