While adding more good players obviously helps your chances of advancing in the playoffs, I’m not sure why it keeps getting brought up. Turner, deGrom, Jansen all went home after the first round too, with stacked teams supporting them.

Some of you have never watched Voltron and it showsPopeye_Card wrote: ↑December 2 22, 8:52 amWhile adding more good players obviously helps your chances of advancing in the playoffs, I’m not sure why it keeps getting brought up. Voltron's arms (#1 and #3 in NL MVP voting) went 1 for 15 with 0 XBH in 2022. What transpired in the 2022 playoffs shouldn't be the driver for what happens next. Just build the best roster and take your chances again.ghostrunner wrote: ↑December 2 22, 9:10 amSome of you have never watched Voltron and it showsPopeye_Card wrote: ↑December 2 22, 8:52 amWhile adding more good players obviously helps your chances of advancing in the playoffs, I’m not sure why it keeps getting brought up. I thought it was 100% crystal clear that I meant we should combine their powers and hit with the giant sword

Contreras bat fits at DH. Jansen would be the more solid catcher defensively. A lineup with Jansen/Contreras is exponentially better than what we had last season.
Also then we can trade Knizner for cash considerations and save him from getting his ass whipped by Holiday for sullying his jersey number.
