Yeah I think he's trying to package guys. That's the only way he can get what he's seeking. I feel a few hitters may be moved in these deals too

Plus, trading 4-5 guys separately is complicated and the Cardinals don’t do complicated.

I just feel like the types of hitters that the Cardinals have an abundance of are plentiful in most organizations, and MLB-ready pitching is a scarce commodity. Every team wants MLB-ready (or near MLB-ready pitching). That makes it a difficult market.
