I am not sure why @sighyoung is being forced to click a link when everyone else is allowed to just view the image in the thread.
He knows what he's done.

GW Jr #1 is turning 21 today. He wasn't even 4 when I joined the site.

My youngest is in the college selection process right now. She applied to about 10 schools, and has been accepted to all but Wash U so far. All have given her substantial scholarships, and she has been invited to compete for full rides to Drury, Rockhurst, SIUE and Maryville.

It's so incredible to see all her hard work paying off. She's such a great kid. I couldn't be more proud.

Awesome Geddy!

My daughter is growing like a weed and started pre-school last fall. It's already going so fast. I feel like I'm going to blink and she's going to be picking colleges.

That's exactly how it happens, man. Enjoy every second to the best of your ability.

My youngest is racking up the scholarships! Already sitting on the MO Bright Flight ($3500/year for a 32 on ACT) plus a local $1000 scholarship...

Drury gave her several stackable scholarships that covered alllllmost all of tuition.
She's still in the running for full ride (tuition+room+board) scholarships to SIUE and UMSL. SIUE *really* impressed us, and might have just wound up being the winner if not for...
Rockhurst, with their direct-entry Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, gave her a full tuition scholarship. So we can apply her outside $4500 to room+board. So all that plus the modest amount in her college fund and she'll be able to get her undergrad and guaranteed spot in a top Doctoral program with with zero debt.

This kid is amazing.

Must be the way she was raised. Well done, papa.
