I don’t mind kap for 1/1. He can play on the 4th line if the kids aren’t ready, and if they are ready, just sit him.

Shenn and Bush aren't reasonable options at C and Oskar is out for the year. New guy Tex is a winger. So...who do we have at C besides Thomas?

that's what made the Hayes trade odd, since we don't have a replacement. Most good FA options are already gone so hopefully DA has some trades up his sleeve so we can play some games

I'm ok with not spending to the cap since this is just a fringe team anyways...but this has been and odd start.

That’s a good point. I keep thinking of the new kid Tex as a center, but yeah. You prefer not to have schenn or buchy at center, but clearly one of them will be. Schenn as the 3rd line center?

And/or maybe they expect one of the kids to claim that spot.

We appear to be flush with wingers, maybe we find a center via trade. Who knows.
