So we’ve already equaled what we did last offseason?!?

I hope he becomes a Misiorowski or Yesavage for us.

What would the FO need to accomplish for you (anyone here) to consider it a successful offseason?

Mostly I'm looking for positive signs regarding roster makeup etc. Not expecting any big splash signings or anything.

Successful offseason to me would be unloading Gray and Arenado contracts.

I don't think we'll know for a few years. We're not adding MLB talent -- we'll be subtracting it. I think "prospects with promise" is what I'm looking for. In the meantime, I expect lower payroll and to finish as close to last as the Pirates allow us.

I’m looking for signs that Bloom can develop effective starting pitching here like he did in Tampa.

This is where I'm at.

I've accepted we're going to suck for at least another few years. Give me a farm system with more players I can dream on for now.

I can't wait til the Winter Warmup when Dewitt III tells us they had to cut payroll because us fans were naughty and didn't show up in sufficient numbers to hit their profit target.
