Sorry Mary. Knew you'd be disappointed.

Fitts broke camp with the Sox last year. Might be a starter for us this year.

Number 5 Red Sox prospect seems encouraging.

Our opening day payroll is gonna be laughably low.

I signed up for a Red Sox board called Sons of Sam Horn in 2011 when Erik Bedard was traded there. They are ambivalent about the trade. They think the Red Sox gave up too much, but like that the Cardinals are paying $20 million of Sonny’s salary. They are arguing about which slot in the rotation Sonny will fill, with those liking the trade suggesting #2 and those disliking the trade suggesting #4.

Mildly surprised to see it happen this early.

Good luck to Sonny.

Maybe Chaim knows the Sox prospect and felt like it was a good move. Eating half of Sonny's guaranteed money over the next two seasons isn't a bad deal considering how back loaded the contract was

But our starting rotation looks really weak now. Be interested to see what kind of moves are made there.

Clarke and Doyle might be an interesting duo in the rotation in a year.

It doesn't really matter if Fitts is the #2 or #5 starter next year, the entire Cardinals rotation next year will be made up of nothing but #4, #5 and swingmen pitchers.

I'm ecstatic about the new punning possibilities.

If Sonny doesn't come back for his age 43 season he won't qualify for a Red Jacket™

Wow. We’ll be paying a lot of money for former players if Arenado gets moved. At least we’re not just holding on to hold on, though I think there was an argument in this case.
