Yeah, I have a feeling the Panarin deal is an outlier since he only wanted to go to LAK.
Faulk now with 11 goals and 30 points in 57 games. He’ll be worth a good return.
Buchy with another goal. Kyrou now with 15 points in his last 12 games. Snuggles with 9 points in his last 6 games.
It feels like things are turning around but have also lost 8 of 9 so clearly not so I don’t know what to think.

Jack is a native of STL, his father Jeff was a Blues defenseman from 1998-2004.

Sweet! I was hoping we would claim him! Seems like a nice gamble for a young guy with size on the 4th line.

Binner with a shutout in Canada’s first game. Nice to see that from him.

Didn’t really see any thread about the Olympics but great gold medal hockey game between US and Canada going on right now.
Edit: hopefully some of you fellow hockey fans watched the game live, it was pretty cool to see the US pull it off after being massively outplayed in the 2nd period, and a lot of the 3rd (minus a couple good chances on the PP).
I don’t watch much NHL on TV anymore to see how good he is on a nightly basis, but Hellebuyck was ridiculous in this game.

I watched most of the 3rd + OT. I was rooting for Binnington.
It was a fantastic game though.

When it went to OT, I commented to my wife that the 3-on-3 format did not bode well for the US, when Canada can roll out (arguably) the three best players in the world on a single line, in a format that only amplifies the skill gap.
But I forgot they also had Binnington in net, who apparently is not allowed to win in OT anymore. (not counting the Chechnya game)
