I like Scott as a guy off the bench to steal a base late and to come in for defense to protect a lead.

He's not a starter long term.

I just don't think he's going anywhere this year. If there's a shot for his offense to become more respectable, they'll take it and let that play out until there's a clear replacement. I just don't see who that would be right now, barring a trade. Can Baez play center? Maybe Noot when he's back? That's about the only way I see it happening.

They'll wait too long. They always do. Mostly because they don't want to spend money. But the evidence is already there. Scott can't hit and he likely never will.
