Two out of three ain't bad, but this one felt winnable.

Cardinals drop the finale but win 2 out of 3 in New York. Their record in day games drops to 12-17 and they are 4 back of 1st place Milwaukee. Raley gets the win in relief for the Mets and the loss falls on JoJo who is 0-2 on the season. Williams earned his ninth save for the Mets.

Cardinals head to Minnesota for a weekend series against the Twins before returning to Busch.

The Mets stay home and will face the Braves.
