Wide strike 3 call but Austin F'ing Riley did not challenge and he is the first out in the top of the 7th

Perhaps with the break coming up they thought it best to get him out on a high note, which I could understand. I sure hope maximizing for the win is their first thought, of course.

Fair point and I expected him to go back out for the 7th; but I have seen him blow games really fast so it didn't bug me too much. In a perfect world he goes 7 or 8 with the type of game he had thrown thus far. Marmol clearly likes Gastelum, which makes you wonder why it took so long for him to reach the big leagues.
