Let's what the return is...but I'd expect it to be light. Brewers are model-heavy and usually won't lose a trade.
Honestly, the Cards got a nice return. Two nice bats.
I'll give Bloom credit on this one, didn't expect those top guys in the Brewer system to move. FanGraphs has Frias a top-50 prospect.

Even the other guy, Ragsdale, is a 22yo at AA who has been OBPing in the .440 range with power and speed.

Did we get a better return on May/Romero than the Tigers got for Skubal?

That is not bad, but I’m really not looking forward to the pitching the rest of this season.

It's a good trade and we won't see the Brew Crew until the last series of the season

Frias has big error bars due to proximity, but it's not THAT far off in my view if you don't see River Ryan as able to be a starter.

I've got some homework to do on Frias (I could read some reports and just regurgitate them, but when I don't know someone, I'll tell you true).
FanGraphs says he was the biggest breakout bat on the entire complex this summer, so that's exciting.

Truly is a new day under Chaim. Not afraid to trade within the division.
Not risk averse like this bowtie guy I know.

Frias is a freak with crazy bat speed and physical projection, the guy on the list with the best shot to have a Junior Caminero type of rise.
I like the sound of this.
