How many pitchers does Pujols own?

Jack is very wrong, because if it were CT we would be discussing how Pujols is not a team player since he wears a black undershirt, or how he failed to do much outside of a couple home runs in the playoffs, or how he's probably doing steroids.
All things considered, this is a very homeric thread. I think it's bollocks to celebrate Pujols owning these pitchers. Children are starving and we're discussing something stupid like this? Have any of you no conscience?
Haaaaaa, just kidding. Brad Penny immediately jumps to mind as a pitcher Pujols owns. But, without a doubt, his biggest victim is Odalis Perez. I guess Cousin Oliver is on that list, too.

I'll take it.

yeah, it's amazing what actual stats can tell us. thanks for finding that. so, he's had at least one hit in the postseason, too. And at least two GW hits total off Lidge in a handful of at bats. I'm still going to say, if you have a couple of GW hits off a dominant closer in a relatively small number of at bats....and one of them was legendary....I'd say that falls into the "owned" category.vinsanity wrote:Hmm somebody posting the actual line?bronx_bird wrote:I knew that would eventually happen. lol.vinsanity wrote:2/5 1 K, .400 Avg, .400 OBP, .600 SLG, 1.000 OPS.The Third Man wrote:Okay 2 for 14. I think that's just regular season though...

ESPN has him at 3 for 13, 1 2B, 1 BB, and 3 K's. I'm pretty sure that's career regular season, since it says 0 HR's. I think the 2 for 5 is just 2006.vinsanity wrote:Hmm somebody posting the actual line?bronx_bird wrote:I knew that would eventually happen. lol.vinsanity wrote:2/5 1 K, .400 Avg, .400 OBP, .600 SLG, 1.000 OPS.The Third Man wrote:Okay 2 for 14. There's a chance my line is from last year. Buuut add that end to nearly ruining a kid's career with a HR that is probably still in orbit around the world...seems like some pownage to me.Popeye_Card wrote:ESPN has him at 3 for 13, 1 2B, 1 BB, and 3 K's. Update: BR has the same line. So he was 1/8 to start his career and 2/5 since in the reg season. Sounds like he's got em figured out. Another 3/5 season or so he's at a respecitable .333.
Update II: Pujols 1/4 1K 0BB 0HR (in 04) and 2/3 0K 0BB 1HR Soo in the Playoffs he's 3/7 1K 1(career ending)HR and 0BB agaist Lidge. So he's 6/20 Career against him, 4K's and 1 HR. That's an even 300. Not bad.
