Anyone know about Edgar Gonzalez' defense? According to minor league splits he doesn't have any trouble with left handers. I know that it is Miles' job unless he plays his way off the team, but if that happens, he would seem to be an option to hedge Kennedy against lefties and overwork/injury. Maybe Hole-Bart (as Mike Shannon said) Cabrera, but I wouldn't be as happy about him seeing much playing time, although anyone playing in lieu of Miles and Taguchi makes me a little bit excited.
As an aside, our troop of quad-A guys along with JRod and Schumaker etc., seem to be playing pretty well so far (obvious early Spring Training disclaimer here) while Taguchi and P-Dubs are struggling early. Should be interesting to see how this pans out, although I am reasonably sure I know the answer to that.
