Cardinals minor leaguers are leading three leagues in home runs and three leagues in RBIs. The leaders are: OF Rick Ankiel's 30 RBIs lead the Pacific Coast League (Ryan Ludwick's 36 are tops, but he's in the majors); OF/1B Joe Mather leads the Texas League with 11 homers and 21 RBIs; infielder Allen Craig paces the Florida State League with eight home runs; 1B Brandon Buckman leads the Midwest League with eight home runs and 32 RBIs.
I'm not sure how many of these you would actually consider prospects, but this seems to be abnormal in Cardinal Minor League history.

I would be shocked if Rasmus wasn't leading the minors in doubles also.

Like the new avatar, fat strat. I didn't recognize you at first.
From the number son the 5/12 game log post, Rasmus is FOR REAL. Who was the last prospect we had that got us all excited like this?

Just speaking for myself but there are certain guys that come around every so often that just have "it." Guys who are special. Reyes has "it." Haren had "it." And right now there are two guys in our system who I think have "it." Rasmus and Perez. I'll be very surprised if these two aren't significant parts of our future.
