LOL...what a joke. Both sides are smearing and lying and neither is taking the high road. It's called politics. But you Obama supporters keep thinking you're better than everyone.

Again, for the record, I am an independent, undecided voter who is trying to cut through the BS that flows from both sides.
You can say you're undecided, but it's pretty clear which way you lean.

Go ahead and post the Obama lies. Nobody's stopping any of you.
Actually, I lean towards Obama but am really being put off by his supporters who think anyone who doesn't support him is an idiot, like you do.
And
you honestly feel that McCain's supporters don't have total disdain for Obama and his followers? You clearly don't work with the same people I work with, don't listen to the same radio programs I hear, don't read the same blogs I read.

McCain up 3 on Rasmussen, 3 on Gallup

Obama up 2 on R2000.

Most polls show McCain ahead.

But, I just thought of this:

If the South is polled a lot and Obama stands to win maybe two states in the south, that isn't making a difference at all. It's worthless.

Poll the battleground states, Michigan, Missouri, Virginia, Colorado, New Hampshire, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania and Nevada. Just those states instead of a National Poll. Then you get an idea of who's going to win. If you poll the entire US, including states like West Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Idaho, Utah, etc., that's a huge distortion of where the race is. Poll just those select states and that's where the race is.

Second of all, many polls don't take in account cell phones, new voters and dramatically undercuts African Americans because a lot of the time, African Americans don't even show up to the polls. The AA turnout is going to be HUMONGOUS this go around. So is the youth vote. If those aren't weighted as equally as the 65+ crowd or the White Evangelicals, it's gonna look bad for Obama.

Did I ever say they don't?

I simply said I am being put off by Obama supporters and their snotty attitudes, like you just exhibited.

How does any opinion on this board or any opinion you read online change your vote? Just ignore the noise and vote how you want. There's snottiness on both sides, believe me.

I said there is snottiness on both sides a few posts ago, so we agree about that. Believe me, no opinion on this board will change my vote.

I should have stuck by what i said a while ago...I'm out of this thread. Until they pull me back in...;)

I find this thread entertaining with the exception of a few who make it personal. If you can follow it from the perspective of being sure of your candidate, it's nothing more than entertainment!

This was at Kos. It's funny because it's true.
I'm voting Republican because being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and
you need our prayers for your recovery.

I'm voting Republican because Government should relax regulation of Big Business and Big Money but crack down on individuals who use marijuana to relieve the pain of illness.

I'm voting Republican because "Standing Tall for America" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.

I'm voting Republican because a woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multi-national corporations can make decisions
affecting all mankind without regulation.

I'm voting Republican because Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of
homosexuals and Hillary Clinton.

I'm voting Republican because the best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

I'm voting Republican because group sex and drug use are degenerate sins unless you someday run for governor of California as a Republican.

I'm voting Republican because if condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

I'm voting Republican because a good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our long-time allies, then demand their cooperation and money.

I'm voting Republican because HMOs and insurance companies have the interest of the public at heart.

I'm voting Republican because providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health care to all Americans is socialism.

I'm voting Republican because global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.

I'm voting Republican because Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

I'm voting Republican because a president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.

I'm voting Republican because Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

I'm voting Republican because the public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.

I'm voting Republican because what Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

I'm voting Republican because trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.
