And you're voting for Obama because I called you a liar. As I said yesterday, don't let the door hit ya. Oh, and I saw your donation yesterday and raised it.
Seriously, would you just chill the [expletive] out for once? I'm not trying to start anything, but could you pull the stick out for one [expletive] day and just stop engaging in constant banter? I've never seen you actually discuss issues. I've never seen you discuss economy, immigration, health care, crime, anything. Just abortion and how Obama is so mean to everyone and liberals are scum. If you're so enraged by hippie liberals, why even [expletive] post here? The mods are sick and tired of the arguing, everyone is sick and tired of the arguing and you keep doing [expletive] that is going to get what could be a very, very good thread locked.
pot...kettle...black.

I'm the doing things that could get this locked? What, by questioning or responding to posts that are outrageous? Yeah. I'll quit. You go ahead and keep posting lies and drivel from the left.

Just abortion, huh? Wow. Really paying attention there. I've discussed that to no end apparently.

And I need to chill out? I'm perfectly fine. Nothing has gotten under my skin here. It's mostly made me laugh. And for that, I owe a huge thank you to many of you. You and a couple of others are at the very top of that list. Go back and look at my posts today. I was posting everything in fun. Someone started responding to me that probably needs to chill out. Oh, but they back your agenda, so that's okay.

Nice language, too.
Oh shut up about the lies and drivel from the left. You're the one who has taken everything to another level. I haven't said anything to anyone in this thread in a while. I've posted poll numbers and opinion because I was asked to cool it off and I have. But you continue to argue with people. You may be perfectly fine, but that's because you've done nothing but piss people off with your Right wing talking points. You're like a GRB version of Limbaugh. You run your mouth and get everyone riled up and then try to play the victim when someone responds to you.

You do need to chill out. On purposely getting flame wars started up again. You know what you're doing, so stop playing stupid.

The McCain-Follieri Love Boat
The Maverick and the Celebrity Con Man
By Mark Ames & Ari Berman

September 11, 2008
John McCain has been hammering rival Barack Obama for being little more than a vapid "celebrity" and "elitist." But The Nation has obtained a photo revealing just how star-struck a straight-talking maverick can become when offered the chance to celebrate his birthday aboard a yacht filled with celebrities--even if one of those celebrity types turns out to be an A-list con man.

The photograph substantiates reports that in late August, 2006, McCain celebrated his 70th birthday aboard a yacht, the Celine Ashley, rented by A-list con man Raffaello Follieri and his then-movie star girlfriend Anne Hathaway. In the current edition of Vanity Fair, Michael Schnayerson reported that Follieri rented the Celine Ashley for the month of August 2006. Montenegro's leading daily
newspaper, Vijesti, earlier reported that during McCain's visit in 2006 he celebrated with birthday cocktails and sweets aboard the Celine Ashley yacht. In the photograph, taken in Montenegro at the end of August, McCain is shown boarding the yacht ramp towards the smiling Follieri and Hathaway. Just ahead of McCain and shaking hands with Follieri appears to be Rick Davis--McCain's top aide and now co-manager of his campaign, who accompanied him on the trip and advised the government of Montenegro. A few months after McCain's yacht party, Follieri strengthened his ties to McCain's orbit by retaining Rick Davis's well-connected Washington lobbying firm, Davis Manafort, and offering Davis both an investment deal and help in securing the Catholic vote for McCain's presidential bid.

Fifty-seven percent of registered voters did not know that Palin opposes abortion even in instances of rape and incest. Sixty-nine percent did not know that she favors teaching creationism in public schools. Asked if Palin shares their view on abortion, 43 percent of white women said yes, 41 percent said no and 16 percent did not know.
When this finally gets thrown at her, watch out.

That 43% of women seems way too high and 41% seems way too low as far as disapproval, as far as abortion even in cases of rape and incest.

How do you define liberalism and conservatism?

See, this is what bothers me, too. Stop with the labels. Who cares? Black, white, male, female, Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative............

Listen to the candidates and their issues objectively.

Because Palin's daughter was 17...doesn't that mean it's statutory rape because she was under the age of consent? or is Alaska's age of consent lower?

I heard this the other day and was just wondering.

So half of the countries that she claimed to have visited on her "foreign policy resume", she didn't visit at all. By next week, she'll likely be twisting into "I cut the foreign travel expenses in half in Alaska".

http://www.boston.com/news/nation/artic ... iraq_trip/

WASHINGTON - Sarah Palin's visit to Iraq in 2007 consisted of a brief stop at a border crossing between Iraq and Kuwait, the vice presidential candidate's campaign said yesterday, in the second official revision of her only trip outside North America.

Following her selection last month as John McCain's running mate, aides said Palin had traveled to Ireland, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq to meet with members of the Alaska National Guard. During that trip she was said to have visited a "military outpost" inside Iraq. The campaign has since repeated that Palin's foreign travel included an excursion into the Iraq battle zone.

But in response to queries about the details of her trip, campaign aides and National Guard officials in Alaska said by telephone yesterday that she did not venture beyond the Kuwait-Iraq border when she visited Khabari Alawazem Crossing, also known as "K-Crossing," on July 25, 2007.

Asked to clarify where she traveled in Iraq, Palin's spokeswoman, Maria Comella, confirmed that "She visited a military outpost on the other side of the Kuwait-Iraq border."

It was the second such clarification in as many weeks of the itinerary of what Palin has called "the trip of a lifetime." Earlier, the campaign acknowledged that Palin made only a refueling stop in Ireland.

You're right. I'm purposely starting "flame wars". I should just read stuff that I think is absolutely ridiculous, false or outright lies and just laugh it off. It's such a double standard for so many of you.

I'm not arguing to argue. But I'll just let the liberals have their little thread. That's obviously what you and others want.
