My bad. It's not a disgrace when you agree with those comments. Again, thanks for doing your part, jim.

I attacked specifics things said by Obama. Who did you attack? Don't try to turn things that I said around on me to make yourself look better. I'm attacking the candidate, even though this is a clear liberal playground. You have said you're scared about the divide in this country. So what do you do? You listen to your boy and attack Republicans. Not McCain. Not Palin. But me.

I guess he can lead.

It doesn't have to be Obama or mccain. It can be anyone from your next door neighbor to Bill Clinton. Doesn't matter. Who would it be? Give a reason if you care to. I don't have an answer right now, but I'd say Forbes might be a good guy just because of his knowledge of the economy. Though, I'm sure he has a ton of things he's not solid on......
FDR, no hesitation.

It cracks me up... all Limbaugh GOP used to despise McCain -back when he wasn't falling in line with the party line(voted against Bush tax cuts, campaign finance reform, didn't hate gays enough, not anti-abortion enough etc etc). Now that he's goose-stepping along on all those principles and he's got Palin for the crazies to boot, he's good enough.

and besides- he's better than Obama right? Under Obama it would be gays and abortion and welfare queens partying all over the place.

watching the GOP squirming around in this campaign has been hilarious.

Here's the problem.... the election cycle is a freakin' joke.

You've got a giant mass of the country that will vote Democrat because of party platform (i.e. regardless of who's running). You've got the exact same type of thing with the Republicans.

Smack in the middle is the giant creamy mass of independent voters. And what happens? Basically those people- the independents who more or less decide the election- get bombarded with these ridiculous sound bytes for 4 months. Whoever is responsible for the stupidest sound byte- or for hanging the most sound bytes on the other party- wins the election. It really has little to do with qualifications or issues or anything pertinent to the actual ability to, you know, be president.

Call me unpatriotic or whatever you want, but as Americans, we're stoopid with a capital 'S'.

It's ceased being about qualifications. It's about whoever can brand their product and have the best marketing campaign.

Absolutely.

/goes off to GIS "Cynthia McKinney" and figure out who the heck that is

EDIT: And now that I see it.... no. If I wouldn't vote for Nader as a Green, I'm not voting for her either.

Yep, a former Congresswoman who attempted to go around security to get into one of the buildings in DC. When a guard tried to stop her to get her credentials, she pretty much attacked/assaulted him and was arrested. Of course, none of this was her fault.....even though all witnesses said she was completely at fault. I despise her....was thrilled when she lost her re-election bid. Of course, that has given her time to run for President.....

I would appreciate it if you quit calling conservative republicans crazies. I've seen you do it multiple times in this thread. It's rude and makes you look like the idiot.
