Pot. Kettle. Black.

I responded to attacks on McCain. But, I'm sure in your eyes, those weren't pointless. Only responses criticizing the savior are pointless.
So long as you aren't trying to claim to be any better, I agree.
We'll agree to disagree. Or we'll just disagree. Whichever.

Surely that can't be, but yet another saga in a truly bizarre election season.
I thought that I read it was a guest preacher that was at her church once when she was there.

And yeah, completely bizarre. But so are many things, IMO, that go on in that denomination.
My wife was just flipping through stations, but this sounded like someone more than a visitor. I think it was CNN, I could be wrong - but it definitely wasn't the National Enquirer.

I read about it a few days ago. I'll go search for it.

If the preacher is trying to rid the village of those penis amputating witches then I'm good with that.

State polling, btw:

As I mentioned a couple pages ago, those Marist polls could be unreliable due to the small sample size, but none the less are good news for Obama. Further going to show Iowa is solidly blue, that SurveyUSA poll has Obama +11 when the B10 poll had them tied.

Also as I mentioned a couple pages ago, you can consider a tie in Indiana being most likely due to Rasmussen's party ID weighting.

I'm sensing that a large amount of McCain's (and Palin's) comments are driven by "talking point" type information shoved in front of him just before his appearances. That's why we're seeing muddled, inconsistent and somewhat contradictory responses from him. I know this is true of all campaigns to some extent, but it looks to be more prevalent with McCain/Palin than with Obama/Biden.

Maybe they're just better "actors", but I don't get such a scripted feeling from Obama or Biden.
I think we should be wary about choosing a candidate based on who has the best marketing. All candidates use talking points to some extent as they are answering the same questions over and over again. There's nothing wrong with that. If we think candidates are using talking points to cover for ignorance or for purposes of misrepresentation then that's a problem, but it seems to me, that the far more important issue is the content rather than whether it seems to come in scripted form or not. These news interviews, I think, do a pretty good job of drawing out the candidates beyond the scripts.
Yes, they're both scripted. I get that and expect that. I probably didn't express my thoughts well. What annoys me is how much McCain's script changes. I think he's being overhandled by his team, and that leads me to believe that would be the case in a McCain White House as well. So I'm not sure what the content of his leadership would be, and I feel more comfortable that Obama would at least try to stick to his guns.

EPIC FAIL:

http://www.tgdaily.com/html_tmp/content ... 5-108.html

Anchorage (Alaska) – FBI agents are using proxy server logs to track down the hacker who broke into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo email account. The hacker gained access to the Republican Vice Presidential candidate’s account by resetting the password. He then posted details of his adventures up on a popular online forum, but that information is now leading reporters and federal investigators to the suspect – a Tennessee university college student and son of state democratic representative Mike Kernell.

A few days ago, someone going by the name of “Rubico” gloated on 4chan.org that he managed to hack into Sarah Palin’s Yahoo account. He forced a password reset by answering questions about Palin’s birthdate, zip code and where she met her spouse, Wasilla High School....

...In his gloating, Rubico posted up screenshots of the Yahoo account complete with the full URL which included the proxy server url (ctunnel.com) appended with a unique identifier......

....But it gets even better. White hat hackers didn’t even need proxy information to find the culprit because they discovered that the Rubico forum handle was linked to rubico10@yahoo.com. A few searches on Google and YouTube further links this email address to 20-year-old David Kernell, a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. His father is Democratic Tennessee state representative Mike Kernell....
