The Pacific Northwest has leaned toward Obama (Washington, Oregon), while California has solidly favored Obama.

Gallup has it tied at 46. It's only only poll that has it that close. It's been so hot and cold. There's no way Obama dropped a point and McCain gained two.

Lame, dood.

When you see a chance, you jump in and toss a harpoon.

When the sledding gets rough, you complain and bail.

Stay.

Toss your darts, but take your lumps, too.
Whatever, "dude".

I'm not tucking and running. I'm just taking the high road. This is clearly a liberal love fest. What exactly is the point of sticking around? To get this thread locked? To get people banned? To get people totally hating me (the ones that don't already)? I mean, I've actually played nice and held a ton back. And anything I say gets pounced on, and frankly, I don't see the point.

I can take my lumps. That's not a concern to me. Nothing has been said to me or about me that will make me lose one ounce of sleep.

But nobody is here to debate. If I chime in on anything, then it just becomes one big argument. Look at every single post made today and give me one reason I should even bother to continue with this thread. Look at all of the mudslinging and hypocrisy from just today. Sure, there's some legit stuff, but I most isn't, and if anyone from the opposite side said anything similar about Obama, then they'd get called out so quickly. I should know. Yet those same people are doing it now.

I've got much better ways to spend my time than to continue with this crap.
It's amazing how the most liberal 5% are so loud and annoying that they seem like the majority.

Edit: I mean in society as a whole, not necessarily this board

I think you could say the same thing about the most conservative 5% in our society.

I think the general consensus is that unless you go to church every Sunday, don't kill babies and support all wars waged by the US, you're entirely too liberal and far too vocal.
