I guess fair and balanced doesn't have to be factual or accurate.

You didn't see all the crew members off-camera who raised their hands for McCain.

I don't understand why he's being so ignorant and combative here.
That health care question really was an interesting one. I hadn't thought about that. Seemed to catch him off guard.

He should cover up the douche tattoo on his arm and I should always announce my love for Betty Nguyen.

Saw this gem last night on CNN. Which papers does Palin read? "All of them".

[/youtube]

I know she is nervous, I know she isn't stupid, I know she is probably a wonderful person, I know she has done a good job in Alaska, .... But she has gone from being cute and funny to being a national embarrassment. Like it or not, image counts. If you can't speak in front of a camera without a prepared speech and not come across like that it's not good. Katie Couric is absolutely dumbfounded.

The same show I saw this on last night also went to that spot in Alaska where you really can see Russia. I had no idea it was *that* close. There are about 120 people living on this island, no roads etc.. and you have to get there via helicopter. It's so remote that many of the the people had no idea who Palin was, some knew who she was but didn't know she was selected for VP, and some that did know all of the facts found the "We can see Russia" comment pretty humorous. One guy threw his garbage in the ocean and apparently the currents will sometimes cause it to drift over to Russia .. that appears to be the biggest potential problem at the moment. But so far, no issues.

so you really expect me to believe that Russia's not sending their version of Navy Seals across the strait to this podunk island that is the last barrier before invasion of the US? That Alaska isn't on the front line fighting a daily war with the folks in Siberia (all 3 of them)?
