What are you even talking about?
I think it's funny that you try to frame it like conservatives are this poor unrepresented party in Washington and we've had nothing but black, liberal presidents for years and years.
As soon as my dad heard Powell's endorsement, a man he admires and said he'd vote for president any day of the year, ever, he said he was a traitor and a turncoat.

What is with this obsession with the parties? We all want our team to win, regardless of who's playing the damn game. "Stamp out liberalism." My fiancee's Dad swears that Rush Limbaugh is the best thing that's happened to this country. I wouldn't even know where to begin, other than changing the word best with worst.

I'm pretty sure that Sarah said you live in the American part of America, so your cool.

The way I look at it is that if the D's and R's were taken away and the labels didn't exist, would I like these people? If there were no labels, I'd still dislike McCain and I'd still think Obama would make the best president. And I'd still think he's fantastic.
I don't get it. Powell is a hero if he endorses Obama, a traitor/turncoat if he does? Meh.
Okay last chance BW and any other Repubs on the board. I'm voting tomorrow. I get more than enough of the left on this board. I've been waiting for months for someone to give me specific reasons why I should vote for McCain and all I ever see are broad generalizations, vague statements and attacks on Obama without much substance. I don't think Obama always has a plan that will work nor do I agree with all of his stances. But at least it is clear that he has a plan and knows specifically what he wants to do. Why should I vote for McCain?
The Republican National Committee appears to have spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.
According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.
Sarah Palin? NOT ELITIST! 150,000 on outfits? Pocket money, homie.
I heard that tonight PJ. Nieman Marcus? Saks? Whats the matter with Target or Walmart like where real americans shop. why not kill and skin a moose? Oh well, $150m less for negative ads about Obama.
FWIW, two people I know were on the fence a month ago about this election and in the aimed-for demographic of McPalin - well both of them mentioned being disgusted by McPalin's campaign conduct, but even more pissed by their friends that are McPalin people that continually harass them with ACORN, Ayers, Muslim, abortion stuff. They both are def voting Obama.
these feces flung by McPalin gets blown right back in their face.

It's not setting well with anyone. McCain's favorables absolutely PLUMMETED. Palin's popularity is dropping like a rock in Alaska and nationwide. Obama's favorables, from what I read in an article earlier today, are higher at this point than Clinton's ever were and.. someone else.. gah. Maybe it was Reagan? It was something to that effect.

For a job that pays, what? President $400,000. VP $200,000?
