About this, even if it were true that's a rule that needs to be gotten rid of.

Talk about a step on the neck:
The campaign is now seriously examining a late surge into the state. That may include ramping up TV advertising, on-the-ground staff or even deploying the candidate to stop there. Obama is scheduled to make a Western swing late this week, making an Arizona visit possible.

According to Pollster.com’s averages, Arizona is a 6 point race in McCain’s favor, compared to Pennsylvania--McCain’s best hope of picking up a blue state--which is an 11-point race in Obama’s favor. That means Obama has more reason to travel to Arizona than McCain does to Pennsylvania, no matter how far-fetched it once seemed to try to win McCain’s home state.

My dad says the same thing.

Translation: "he's a librul commie socialist muslim terrorist who wants to take our jobs, liberties, freedoms, guns, monies, fetus' and right to hate homos -- also, he was born in kenya"

Basically my dad's thinking.
I went through that with most of my family this weekend. The talk of the election came up so I asked a simple question, "Why are voting for McCain?" I swear to God, in unison they all started with, Obama blah blah blah. I stopped them and said, OK, why are you voting FOR McCain? Again they answered, Obama... By the end of the conversation it was painfully obvious that they knew nothing of Obama or McCain and the only thing they could come up with was communist terrorist and he'll be assassinated anyways. It was sickening.

All questions are fair including his and the reporter question to Biden as stupid as those questions were (Is Obama a marxist?). I don't like it when either party complains about unfairness and it seems pretty one-sided and far as which side has been whining about media coverage and which questions are acceptable to ask a candidate and especially the Veeps (in particular Palin).

Unless insulting on a personal level, I haven't seen anything out of bounds in that regard as far as the media and this campaign. I don't hold that same thought process as far as people yelling "[expletive]" and "kill him".

It's like FOX and MSNBC whining about each other being one-sided, shut up, both networks with a few exceptions are extremely biased and jaded.

I haven't heard my dad talk about a single issue that he likes about McCain. Not one. I'm not even sure that he knows anything about the man. All he knows is that he wants to keep us in Iraq and as early as April, he called him a liberal.

Is it really so bad that I'd vote for Arnie if he promised Terminator Tuesdays every single week where he dresses up as the T-800 and just does all of the stuff on his daily schedule in character? Imagine diplomatic efforts with Iran then. Good luck, Ahjemnaiusiajdansjajn.
