I just watched Once. I liked it. The tunes were catchy and the entire movie was just honest and sweet.

I rented that movie hoping I could enjoy it with Mrs. Freed. She bailed out fairly early in the movie. Quite a bit different than usual movie fare -it should be in the Musical genre. But i agree -some decent tunes ("When your mind's made up) honest and sweet. Classic ending scene.

I'm going to see Bedtime Stories tonight. I suggested Benjamin Button. Remind me NOT to suggest to my family we all go see a movie again. Who turns down Benjamin Button for Bedtime Stories?

I watched a really awesome, really interesting anti-war movie from 1971:

Donald Sutherland plays Jesus.

It pays to have good friends.

If you've ever seen the video for Metallica's "One", the clips in it are from Johnny Got His Gun.
