What gets me is Rasmus continuing to bunt in front of Albert, and I guess nobody's stopping him.

Bringing in a struggling Wellemeyer in the 7th of a one run game, the day before the allstar break....WTF?

EDIT: And replaces him with PJ Walters.

Against your arch rival, main competition in the division, in the first game of a double-header that could see your lead go from 3.5 to 1.5 in the blink of an eye

I'm so god damn pissed right now

Not so much.

But TLR does seem to be counting on the split tonight.

1. TLR playing as if the second game is a win....Worry about the first game first. TRY all your best to win THAT game
2. TLR believing in Wellemeyer.

Head scratcher from the July 31 game that I attended:

Allowing Thomspson to hit in the 7th inning after pitching 2 innings. Runner on 1st, 1 out, and we sacrificed a slow footed runner (LaRue) to 2nd. Next batter singles, LaRue is thrown out at the plate, inning over. Thompson goes out the next inning and gives up the lead.

Your choices are, against a tough lefty with a runner on 3rd and 1 out:
A) Thurston/K Greene
B) K Greene/Skip

Tony's answer:
[SHOW]
A

DeRosa was bunting twice in his RBI single at bat.

lol at Tony for bringing Motte in with 2 outs in the 9th and a 4 run lead with nobody on. Mixin' and matchin' 'til the very end.

I thought he wanted to give Miller two nights off, what's with bringing him in to start the 9th with a 4 run lead?
