Anyone else buying the new Halo? I'm just about to pre-order from GameStop. Theres a "firefight" mode that's supposed to be similar to GOW2's horde...

I've got it ordered from Amazon. I still love playing Halo campaigns and rarely touch the multiplayer (except for co op campaign).

Looking forward to this for one big reason: not supposed to be any flood in the game. A campaign just against the Covenant is perfect. I hate all flood levels ever.

But .... But.... I love me some shotgun!

I wanna try that firefight out bad. Screw it, I'm ordering it now.

No flood is a good thing but there are also no elites. I suppose that fits in with the storyline though.

the shotgun is hands down the most overrated gun in games today. I'm always really psyched when I get it then 5 minutes later I'm looking for another gun.

I'm sure you can still use it against charging brutes.

The Shotgun is the reason I dislike Halo.

I was raised on shooting games where when you see something move, you shoot it. Whenever I get the Shotgun in Halo I always fire a second or two to soon and then my opponent fires once and instant death. Hate that.

The trailer show absolutely no gameplay, but it's pretty great as far as video game commercials go. Metacritic is scoring ODST 85.
