Re: What state has the best college basketball?
A silly OP-- North Carolina wins, and Tennessee, California, Michigan, Florida, and Ohio all have at least as strong a claim as Indiana...
Purdue is on the rise, steadily building momentum, but very little truly national success;
Notre Dame is a cupcake-fueled poseur still clinging to a fluke home win over UCLA in 1974;
Butler is a tough, consistent regional power that lacks the recruiting prowess to make a legitimate national impact;
Indiana has been nationally irrelevant for nearly a decade-- still sponging off the excesses and successes wrought by the fat guy in the red pullover sweater.

Let's keep the NCAA Basketball discussion in this thread.
North Carolina. North Carolina has the best college basketball and it's not worth discussing.

Butler and Purdue put together would kill Kentucky and Illinois. I bet Butler could kill Illinois any day even without Purdue, which isn't that great anyway.

We're foul-mouthed and cocky...thrill wrote:I work with a couple of dudes that went to Purdue. They're all like, "Drew Brees this" and "Kyle Orton that" and "Sweet 16 mother [expletive]" and stuff like that and I'm all like "Yeah whatever loser I don't care anyway."
