Can't be thinking about an extension for JJ yet. Oli Marmol is currently only under contract through 2028 with a club option for 2029. We need to figure out a way to lock him down for at least another two years.
EDIT: LOL, when you do a Google search on Oli's contract, even their AI is throwing shade at the Cardinals' justification for the extension:
Context: Signed prior to the 2026 season to avoid distraction, despite missing the playoffs for three consecutive seasons.

Konnor Griffin has been moved to the 60 Day IL with a left ring finger sagittal back injury--also called boxer's knuckle.
