It is like the perfect storm for MO. Bad economy, Yankees laying off, Angels dont want to deal with Boras...
While the 'Bay not signing' factor with the Sox exists and could see them jump into the bidding, its almost a perfect scenario for Mo. Hope he wins.

If we do lock down Holliday, what was the last transaction we made as big as that? Rolen?

Oh yeah, that's true...guess I was thinking of new players. We would have had Pujols cost-controlled for four or five more years even if he hadn't signed that deal, no? Still, good call.
