How’s Colorado been treating you?
Hey AD, it's been good, thanks. I wish i could be as reflective as zeus but i'll keep it simple and say it's good. each day/week/month gets more comfortable in my new surroundings. i really do enjoy campus, my co-workers and my job/career path. i hate to admit how much of a creature of habit i am/can be and thus disrupting that was very challenging for me but i do think i made the right choice. i still have some habits i need to break/correct/work on (putting myself out there more, being "an adult", if you will) but i think i'm getting better at it etc. it is a nice area and i am amazed at how beautiful it is out here...even the air feels/smells/tastes(?) better. i don't wanna say kansas is boring but it is...plain...even living in it's largest city... but being out here just feels so different, in so many ways. it's a process but i like the direction i'm in. my biggest regret so far is missing an opportunity to hang with GRB's own Freed Roger.

not a bad idea actually. there's a dispensary down the street me that sells gummies, actually.

what's everyone's experience with CBD?
I hurt my wrist this fall playing golf. I bought some of the topical cream and I'll be dammed, it seemed to help.

Recently, i've become prone to motion sickness..whether it be by car or air. so naturally, when i'm slated for long roadtrips, it leads to a great deal of anxiety, which in turn just fuels my stomach issues even more. it's a vicious cycle.

im headed to colorado this week for a ski trip and am already dreading the trip between denver and breckenridge.

the trip there should be manageable but i'm worried about the trip back since i will most assuredly be hungover.

I'm wondering if i take an edible...will it help put my mind at ease? What's everyone's thoughts on that?

And how much of an edible should i take if our shuttle is leaving at 9 am and my flight out of denver isn't until 5 pm.
My wife- who has plenty of gummies available as her son is a big shot in the Colorado weed biz- swears by ginger for motion sickness.

I always figured it was a placebo effect but what do I know

I'd ask for their opinion at the dispensary on this, but my hot take is that an edible might not be your best bet for motion sickness. I think weed classic may serve you better for that.

Can you explain the ginger thing? I get motion sickness pretty easily. What form of ginger supposedly works?

Curious about the reasoning here.

I’ve never done an edible so I would prolly be taking a SMALL amount but my thought process is that an edible takes a little bit longer to set in and would last longer than what smoking would provide.

Edibles do take longer to set in and do usually last longer, yes. Occasionally I've gotten a little bit of dizziness/nausea from edibles (last Thursday), which is why I thought it might not be the best answer to motion sickness. That said, I was also combining it with alcohol and smoking weed too, so I was probably just all around [expletive] up.
