Your list is really good. My only change, and it's a big one, is dropping Andrei Kostitsyn for Pavel Bure.

Edit- I see Moscow and Minsk as his birthplace??? Hmmm...

Yes, I thought for sure Bure was Russian. If he's from Belarus, that's an easy change.

Easiest ones for me were Selanne, Orr, and Lidstrom.

Not to quibble, just find the conversation really interesting... but this list has Hully on it for best US players of all time. They kind of give a "wink wink nudge nudge" reason though.

I know he played for Team USA because Canada cut him, but I don't consider Hull an American hockey player. The whole not being born here does that for me.

Yeah, I get it. I really only looked it up because I was wondering why I had such a strong sense that he should be on the USA list. I had forgotten he played for Team USA though. That's probably where it came from.

Yeah, Hullie is Canadian, was snubbed from Team Canada in the 80s iirc, and helped the US win the World Cup in, what 96?

Dual citizenship and all that, but he was born in Canada.
